One of my favorite things to do at remotes is to talk to people as they go by where I am set up. I love listening to their comments about the radio station, our high school broadcasts and more. On Saturday, March 30th I was broadcasting from the 13th Annual Ellsworth American Community Yard Sale, Flea Market and Craft Fair when 3 year old Violet walked by!

Violet's mom had just purchased her a wooden stroller with cabbage patch doll. There were shoppers from 3 to 75 and everywhere in between. People were lined up at 8 AM waiting to get into the Ellsworth Elementary-Middle School with all proceeds going to the Ellsworth American's Newspaper in Education Program.

Shoppers beside Violet walked out with chandeliers, spools of rope, clocks, baseball cards and much much more!
