Director Sankey pointed out these items from the National Weather Service update
- The track and strength of the storm at landfall is still highly uncertain, which has a big effect on what impacts are expected and where
- Now is the time to prepare for the possibility of coastal flooding and erosion, tropical force winds, and inland flooding
- For more resources on preparation, see https://www.weather.gov/safety/hurricane or ready.gov
The next update should be delivered on Wednesday morning, and we will be sure to pass that on.
