Holiday Cards for the Elderly

Sending out Christmas Cards was once a huge part of the holidays! Families would start sending out their cards at Thanksgiving and I know that for years, we would display the cards we received.

With the days of Facebook, Facetiming and instant access, the habit of sending out Christmas Cards has gone by the wayside for many.

But, I'm going to ask you to send out a few! How about picking out a nursing home or two  in your area, or maybe a couple, and send out a card to a resident! You could just address it to "Patient" at the nursing home or the assisted living facility.
