Here’s Why There Are Jack O’Lanterns on the Bridge Between Southwest Harbor and Tremont

If you were traveling between Southwest Harbor and Tremont last night, October 15th you might have seen lit Jack O'Lanterns on the bridge.

They are placed there every year this time of the year in memory of William "Billy" Porter who was killed by an impaired driver while walking on the side of the road. He was supposed to carve pumpkins with Michelle Carter and her daughters.
