Herbert and Graham Named Big East Players of the Week

Caribou's Cody Herbert and Presque Isle's Hannah Graham were named Big East Players of the Week for the Week Ending December 28th.

Caribou swept MDI and Ellsworth on the road winning 58-56 in double overtime over MDI on Friday, December 27th in Bar Harbor and then defeated Ellsworth 64-52 on Saturday, December 28th. Herbert had 19 points against MDI hitting going 7-8  from the free throw line. On Saturday, the 28th, he scored 19 points against Ellsworth, going 7-11 from the free throw line. Caribou is the lone undefeated team in the Boy's Class B Class at 5-0.

Presque Isle swept Ellsworth and MDI on the road, winning 70-42 in Ellsworth on Friday, December 27th and then defeating MDI 58-56 on Saturday, December 28th. Graham scored 15 points on Friday against Ellsworth including 1-3pointer, and then on Saturday the 28th, she scored a game high 25 points including 4 3-pointers and going 7-11 from the free throw line. Presque Isle remains undefeated and has a 8-0 record.
