HCTC Student’s and Staff’s Last Day in Atlanta at SkillsUSA [PHOTOS]

Thanks to Meghan Stubbs for sending us daily updates so we knew what the Hancock County Technical Center's (HCTC) Students and Staff were doing while in Atlanta at SkillsUSA! Here is the last update from Atlanta!

It’s our last day and night in ATL! HCTC started the day enjoying Zoo Atlanta! We loved being able to see the animals and spend just some time having fun. We had a sit down lunch and then headed back to the hotel to get ready for closing ceremonies! It’s always an emotional night that can be full of big feelings. Although our students didn’t podium most made it into the top ten which is an extra big accomplishment next to already being the best in the state. We couldn’t be more proud of these students to pouring their all into this week and giving it all they had in their perspective competitions. They’ve done us SO proud! Extra shout out to Lexie Kearns and Brynn Stephenson for earning a Skill point for their placement in their competition.
