Getting Hairy For a Reason – No Shave November

Members of the Bar Harbor and Mount Desert Police Department, normally clean shaven will be giving up shaving during the month of November all for a great cause!

The Police are asking for your help to reach their goal of collecting $2500. Each member of the department has pledged $100. All proceeds are going to the Home Base Project which provides for Veterans and their Families to heal from the invisible wounds, such as post-traumatic stress and traumatic brain injury.
