Friends in Action Community Lunches – July 2024

Here are the Friends in Action Lunch Menus for July 2024!

The lunches are served at the Moore Community Center in Ellsworth, every Tuesday and Thursday, across from Knowlton Park. The cost of the lunches are $5.00.

The lunches are nutritious, delicious, inexpensive and more importantly a chance for seniors to get together in a warm setting and meet new friends or catch up with old friends!

The lunches have proven to be so popular that Friends in Action is asking that you let them know by Monday at 4:30 p.m. that you will be attending the Tuesday lunch and by 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday if you will be attending the Thursday lunch, so that way they have enough food prepared and place settings set. You can either let them know at the lunch or by giving them a call at 664-6016

• Tuesday, July 2nd - BBQ Chicken Sandwich, Veggies, Fruit and Dessert
• Thursday, July 4th - Closed - Happy 4th of July
• Tuesday, July 9th - Stuffed Chicken Breast, Roll, Veggies, Fruit and Dessert
• Thursday, July 11th - Sweet and Sour Shrimp, Rice, Veggies, Roll and Dessert
• Tuesday, July 16th - Pork Chips, Roll, Veggies, Fruit and Dessert
• Thursday, July 18th - Spaghetti, Mozzarella Stuffed Bread, Veggies, Fruit and Dessert
• Tuesday, July 23rd - Beef Quesadillas, Rice, Veggies, Fruit and Dessert
• Thursday, July 25th - Shepherd's Pie, Roll, Veggies, Fruit and Dessert
• Tuesday, July 30th - Corn Chowder, Roll, Veggies, Fruit and Dessert
