Free Narcan Training in Bar Harbor Wednesday May 24th at 3 p.m.

The Bar Harbor and Mount Desert Fire Departments invite you to a free Narcan Training on Wednesday, May 24th at 3 p.m. The training will take place at the Machias Savings Bank Community Room at 96 Cottage Street in Bar Harbor.

Everyone who attends the training will be given Narcan to carry. The training will last approximately 1 hour.

By equipping individuals with Narcan and training to identify and respond to an overdose, the potential delay between the onset of an opioid overdose and the delivery of life-saving care can be reduced.
