Ellsworth’s Chance Mercier Named PVC Boy’s Player of the Week – Week 4

Congratulations to Ellsworth's Chance Mercier, who was named the PVC Boy's Player of the Week, for Week 4 by the coaches of the Penobscot Valley Conference.

Mercier, a freshman, had 19 points including 2 3-pointers in the Eagles 54-37 victory over Hermon on February 9th.

On February 11th Chance had 33 points including 3 3-pointers in the Eagles 75-71 overtime loss in Bar Harbor to the MDI Trojans

On February 13th Chance was held to a season low 2 points in the Eagles 62-43 loss at Brewer.

Ellsworth is back in action Wednesday night, February 17th, when they play host to George Stevens Academy at 6:30 p.m. That game will be broadcast on AM 1370 WDEA, on WDEA Internet Radio, on our free downloadable APP and on any Alexa enabled device. The game will also be live-streamed on the Ellsworth High School You Tube Channel with WDEA's Chris Popper providing play-by-play.
