Ellsworth Boys Sweep County

After defeating Presque Isle on Monday, December 29th 49-38, the Ellsworth Boys beat Caribou on a frigid day, December 30th 50-41 to go 2-0 on it's annual Aroostook County trip, and return home with a 6-1 record!

Nick Bagley was the high scorer for Ellsworth with 16 points, while Dylan Kelley had 8 points Connor Maguire had 7 points. Ellsworth was 5-10 from behind the 3 point arc, with Maguire sinking 3, and Alex Braley sinking the other 2. The Eagles were 9-18 from the free throw line.

Caribou was led by Dayne Savage who had a game high 21 points, while Colby Holdsworth had 9 points. Caribou was 7-23 from beyond the 3 point arc. Dayne Savage had 4, Taylor Thibodeau 2, and Donovan Savage 1. The Vikings were 8-10 from the free throw line.

Ellsworth, now 6-1 plays MDI on Saturday, January 3rd at 3:30 in Bar Harbor in a game that will be broadcast on AM 1370 WDEA and WDEA Internet Radio.

Caribou, 4-2, hosts Old Town on Saturday, January 3rd at 3:30 PM.
