Driving on the Beach in Bar Harbor
I'm not sure what the fascination is with driving on the beach in Bar Harbor. This group drove out on the beach around 6:34 PM on Saturday, August 17th, with low tide at 7PM.

I'm not sure if people think that the ocean bottom is going to be magically rock hard once the water recedes or what? But if you drive a heavy vehicle onto the sand, there's a 99.9% chance it's going to sink into the non-compacted sand.
The end result? You and about a dozen of your friends are going to have to try and push the vehicle or worse, you'll need a tow truck or excavator!
