I ran my 1st road race in Maine today, at the age of 56! I ran, and I have video proof (see below) the Down East Family YMCA .0002K Couch Potato Road Race!  Now, in honesty it was a bit longer than .0002K, it was more like 50-75 yards, and there wasn't a water station! If you didn't do it today, Friday, March 31st, there's still one more opportunity for you to do it, Saturday, April 1st at 8 AM!

Registration is $10.00 but look at all you get!  You get this cool T-Shirt (while supplies last)

And a very cool swag bag... Which was full of stuff!

My bag had a First National Bank Hat and shoelaces, a Valentine's Day Bag, a crocheted pot cleaner(?), a hand painted potato by a cute Y child and a junior size protective cup/underwear. I'll be regifting that!

Oh and here's proof I made it, and didn't pull a hamstring! But by coincidence the Cardiac Rehab class was going on as I ran. I told them if I wasn't back in 10 minutes to call the ambulance!
