Clear Skies Ahead: Mainers Will Enjoy Sun, Warm Temperatures All Week
After snowstorms, and unseasonably cool temps; the forecast for much of Maine this week is finally looking like spring.
The National Weather Service is calling for a dry and sunshine filled week for much of Maine. The forecast also features a warming trend for the Bangor area, with Friday's high around 82 degrees. Coastal areas will see slightly cooler temps throughout the week.
Over the weekend, Bangor recorded the first 70 degree high of 2020. According to NWS records, May 17, 2020 is the third latest date for the first 70 degree day since 1967 and 1962.
On average, Bangor usually marks a 70 degree high around April 20.
