
Cherryfield Drug Bust Nets 2 Arrests Plus Heroin,Cocaine
Two men, including an Ecuador resident, are facing charges after a drug bust in Cherryfield on Tuesday.
Police searched the Parker Hill Road home of Kevin Robinson, 31, on Tuesday morning. Seized in that search were $6,000 worth of heroin and cocaine base, and $11,000 in cash. In addition, Jean Carlos Mena-Vera, 22, of Ecuador was found to be in possession of a loaded handgun.
WABI-TV reports both Robinson and Mena-Vera are charged with aggravated trafficking in drugs. Mena-Vera's bail was set at $25,000, while Robinson's bail was set at $10,000.
