Celebration of Jim Card’s Life Set

A celebration of Jim Card's life will be held on Sunday, December 3rd at 6PM at Ellsworth High School.

Card passed away on November 20th at the age of 45 surrounded by his loved ones at home after a brief illness with cancer.

Card went to Ellsworth High School where he excelled on the basketball court and baseball diamond. He was a 1990 McDonald's All Start inductee and while at Eastern Maine Technical College he helped lead the EMTC Eagles to the Nationals in 1992

Card was married to his high school sweetheart Sharon Leyendecker in 1994. They had 3 children Cote, Morgan and Madison.

The Cards opened Card Enterprises in 2008, a pre-owned car dealership in Ellsworth.

In lieu of flowers contributions may be made in Jim's memory to the Jimmy Card Scholarship Fund, 128 Patten Way, Ellsworth Maine 04605. The scholarships will be awarded to one Ellsworth male and female yearly.
