It's the Battle for Hancock County on Tuesday, January 21st and Wednesday January 22nd when the MDI Trojans Basketball Teams head to Katsiaficas Gymnasium in Ellsworth to play the Ellsworth Eagles.

With it being National Pizza Week, we thought this would be a great chance for you to vote on your favorite pizza place in Ellsworth and on Mount Desert Island.

Thursday, November 14th is National Pickle Day. It's funny, I love pickles but don't really care for cucumbers, which we all know, pickles come from!

Today is Halloween and the forecast is absolutely frightful! Trick or treating and trunk or treating will go on, but there will be a lot of little wet ghouls and goblins! There has been discussion in the past about moving trick or treating to the last Saturday in October and I think it bears some discussion!

I woke up on Thursday, October 3rd and it was 34 degrees outside, and 56 degrees inside in the living room.
