Today is Halloween and the forecast is absolutely frightful! Trick or treating and trunk or treating will go on, but there will be a lot of little wet ghouls and goblins! There has been discussion in the past about moving trick or treating to the last Saturday in October and I think it bears some discussion!

I know there's a chance of raining, or snowing on the last Saturday in October, but I'm not concerned about the weather.  Having trick or treating on a Saturday would make it much easier on families! There's not the rush to get home from school and get changed into your costume. Children could go trick or treating and not worry about getting to bed in time for school the next day! Parents might not have to rush home from work to hand out candy or take their children out trick or treating. And think of the teachers! Teachers every bit of their paycheck and then some on Halloween!

So what do you think? Would you be in favor of having trick or treating moved from Halloween to the last Saturday in October? Take the poll and let us know!
