After being postponed due to COVID concerns, the Neighborhood House's Carryout Cafe will resume this Thursday, January 21st! As always, the suggested donation is $7, and seniors are invited to join “on the house.” Lunch is served from 11:30 to 1 p.m.

On the menu this week is Meatloaf with Mashed Potatoes, Gravy, and Peas and Homemade Cookies for dessert.

The Carryout Cafe  will be open on the first and third Thursday of each month, November through April. The service window in the Neighborhood House's kitchen will serve as the “takeout window” where you can pick up your carryout meal. Everyone is asked to space out accordingly in line and wear a cloth face covering while inside.

For years, the Neighborhood House's Community Cafe has been a highlight of Thursdays, as residents have been able to gather for a great meal and a little community conversation every other Thursday in the winter. Because of COVID-19, organizers have instead decided to transform the Community Cafe to the Carryout Cafe for 2020-21.
