The Brookside Restaurant at Hancock County Technical Center resumed serving meals last Wednesday, February 23rd. It was so successful they are continuing to offer curbside delivery on Wednesdays, with the next meals being offered Wednesday, March 3rd

The Brookside Restaurant gives culinary students at HCTC much needed practical experience. Normally students take turn preparing and serving the meal, so they receive "front" and "back" of the house experience. With COVID, now they're learning how to adapt on the fly.

The Menu for Wednesday, March 3rd offers  a choice of Broiled Scallops ( $12.00 per meal) With Rice Pilaf, Italian Herb Vegetables, Yeast Roll and Strawberry Shortcake or Roasted Sirloin au Jus($12.00 per meal) With Rice Pilaf, Italian Herb Vegetables, Yeast Roll and Strawberry Shortcake. Extra orders of Strawberry Shortcake are available for $2.50
