Thursday’s Anticipated Snowstorm Causes Neighborhood House’s Community Cafe to Move from April 4th to 11th

We are supposed to get walloped on Thursday, April 4th with anywhere from 6 to 11 inches of heavy wet snow, and as a result, the Neighborhood House has made the decision to move their Community Cafe from Thursday, April 4th to April 11th.

The Community Cafe's, normally served the 1st and 3rd Thursday of the month, have been exceptionally well attended this fall and winter since they began on October 19th. There have usually been around 200 in attendance, and the hope is that with just 2 lunches left, that the attendance will stay high or even increase.

The lunches are served from 11:30 to 1 and there's a ten dollar suggested donation with seniors invited to enjoy lunch on the house.

Here are the menus for the April 11th and April 18th's Community Cafes.

April 11th - Chicken Parmesan served over pasta, garlic bread sticks, Caesar salad and dessert

April 18th - Summer Picnic themed menu.
