Boil Water Order In Effect for Parts of Ellsworth

Because of a water main break this morning, March 29th, the Ellsworth Water Department has issued a Boil Water Order for parts of the City of Ellsworth effective immediately.

People living on Court Street, Maple Street, Surry Road, Westwood Drive, Mountain View Drive, Hillside Drive, Acorn Way and Edaco Court should boil water for at least 5 minutes before drinking, making ice cubes, washing foods, brushing teeth or in any other activity involving drinking water!
