UPDATE - 2:30 p.m. Sunday January 7th. The Boil Water Order for parts of Ellsworth has been lifted.
Because of the water leak on Friday in Ellsworth, a Boil Water Order has been issued for parts of Ellsworth on Friday night, January 5th.
Affected Streets include
- School Street (State Street to Main Street)
- Church Street (Oak Street to School Street)
- Park Street (School Street to Garden Street)
- Birch Avenue (State Street to Oak Street)
Residents and businesses on the affected streets should boil the tap water for at least 5 minutes before drinking, making ice cubes, washing foods, brushing teeth or in any other activity involving water consumption.
