Blue Hill YMCA Seeking Stocking Stuffers for Seniors In Nursing Homes on Peninsula

The Blue Hill YMCA, located at the new Lawrence Family Fitness Center, at 32 Mines Road, is collecting items for stockings to be delivered to local nursing homes on the peninsula.

With the COVID-19 pandemic, many nursing homes are not allowing visitors and isolation and loneliness is a big issue, especially as we draw nearer to Christmas.

The Blue Hill YMCA is hoping, with your help to bring a little cheer by supplying stockings to nursing home residents.

Suggested items include

• Hand-made holiday cards
• Books
• Lotion
• Word Search/Crossword Puzzle Paper Books
• Ornaments
• Candy
• Slippers
• Or any other small items that could help bring some cheer.
