Blackwoods and Schoodic Woods Campgrounds to Remain Shut for 2020 Season

According to the website recreation.gov 2 popular campgrounds in Acadia National Park, Blackwoods in Mount Desert and Schoodic Woods located in Winter Harbor will remain shuttered for the 2020 season.

They join Seawall Campground in Southwest Harbor and Duck Harbor Campground in Isle Au Haut in being closed for the 2020 season because of COVID-19

Those interested in camping should  search for private campgrounds near Acadia National Park or contact local chambers of commerce for alternative camping options.
