Bitterly Cold Temperatures Expected This Week
There is little chance of our Christmas Day snow disappearing and melting anytime soon, as we are going to have well below normal temperatures starting Tuesday night and lasting into 2018!
The latest forecast for Downeast Maine including Bar Harbor and Ellsworth calls for temperatures Tuesday night 4 to 10 above. That will seem warm compared to the rest of the week! Wednesday night lows are expected to be -5 to 1 above zero. Thursday day, lows -5 to 0. Friday night will seem like a heatwave with low temperatures 0 to 5 above and then Saturday night it will be 5 to 10 above. New Year's Eve, low temperatures are expected be 0.
