Bar Harbor Chamber Announces Annual Award Winners

The Bar Harbor Chamber of Commerce announced their Annual Award Winners who will be celebrated at the Annual Dinner on Monday, October 22, at the Atlantic Oceanside Hotel and Conference Center.

The Rising Star Award given to a business demonstrating marked growth and prominence is being given to ArtWaves MDI.

The Neighbor Business of the Year Award is given to a business member located outside  of Bar Harbor. This year's recipients is The Restaurant Barn in Ellsworth.

The Environmental Award recognizes a business that has shown leadership in the Bar Harbor community through its sustainable practices. This year's winner is The Naked Blueberry.

The Business of the Year Award is given to a member business that has demonstrated excellence in operations and performance over the past 12 months. This year's winner is Kebo Valley Golf Club.

The President's Award is selected by the chair of the board of directors as the business or person they admire most in the Bar Harbor community. Board chair Jena Young has selected West End Drug to receive this honor.

During the dinner, the Chamber will also unveil the winner of this year’s Cadillac Award, which is given to a person who epitomizes the virtues of leadership, service, and sacrifice and the quest for personal excellence.
