Bangor Cop Selfie Hits the Big Time [VIDEO]

A Bangor cop, who took a selfie while transporting an escapee, has hit the big time, with the picture getting national media attention.

Bangor Police are big on social media pictures. They take 'sunset photos' of the cruisers and post them on the Department's Facebook page. And that's another thing, the Facebook page has garnered international attention for its creative and often funny posts.

But I'd be willing to bet that Officer Eddie Mercier didn't expect his selfie to be featured on the likes of Time magazine's news feed, or the internet video site 'Buzzfeed.' However, that's exactly what happened to the picture he took of himself with the escapee peering out the back window. The 'escapee' had run away from the Bangor Humane Society!
