Air Quality Alert Issued for Downeast Maine Until 5 p.m. Tuesday July 27th
The Maine Department of Environmental Protection has issued an Air Quality Alert for Downeast Maine on Monday, July 26th that is in effect until 5 p.m. Tuesday, July 27th.
The Wildfires out in the West and in Canada have increased the particle pollution levels here in Maine.
Individuals should consider limiting strenuous physical activities. The very young, elderly and those with pre-existing respiratory problems such as asthma or heart disease may want to consult their personal physician.
