#5 MDI Upsets #4 Ellsworth in Girls Tennis Quarterfinals

The #5 MDI Girl's Tennis Team upset #4 Ellsworth in the Team Tennis Quarterfinals at Ellsworth High School on Wednesday, June 1st.

Here are the results.

• 1st Singles - MDI Linda Bolten defeated EHS Bailey Clarke 6-0, 6-0
• 2nd Singles - MDI Lelia Weir defeated EHS Megan Jordan 7-5, 6-3
• 3rd Singles - EHS Briana Kane defeated MDI Taber Allen 6-1, 6-1
• 1st Doubles - MDI Addy Smith and Hannah St Amand defeated EHS Grace Gumpp and Abby Bland 6-3, 6-3
• 2nd Doubles - EHS Brynn Stephenson and Miah Coffin defeated MDI Grace Lemoine and Meredith Cook 6-0, 6-1

MDI will play in the Semifinals on Saturday June 4th. Ellsworth's season comes to an end.
