Mark your calendars! The 42nd Annual Ellsworth Holiday Parade will be held Saturday, December 3rd but this year with a twist! The Parade will step off at 4 p.m. and the parade will be a light themed parade this year. Parade participants are encouraged to deck out their floats/vehicles with Christmas lights and other light up decorations and get creative!

This year's theme is Christmas at the Movies.

Line-up for the parade will begin at Knowlton Park off from State Street, travel down State Street to School Street, across School Street, Turning onto Main Street, traveling to the lower light and then back up State Street to Knowlton Park.

Parade Organizer, Kimberly Fitch encourages all community/civic groups, churches, businesses, schools and any entertainment to register to be part of the parade and join the festivities of Christmas at the Movies!

And while you're at it, circle Saturday November 26th because the Ellsworth Tree Lighting will be held in the City Hall Parking Lot at 5 p.m.

And while you have your marker out, mark Friday, December 2nd because that's when Santa will be arriving in Bar Harbor, with the Holiday Tree Lighting on the Village Green, the Holiday Village Celebration and pictures with children at the YMCA!

The 41st Annual Ellsworth Christmas Parade was held Saturday morning, December 4th on a cloudless cold day! Main Street was crowded with families looking to celebrate the season!
