20th Annual Carol Dyer Luminaria Night – August 14th [VIDEO]

The 20th Annual Carol Dyer Luminaria Night will be  held on Saturday, August 14, 2021, from 7 to 9:30 p.m. in Bar Harbor, honoring those who are battling and in memory of those who have battled cancer. The event is  sponsored by the YWCA of MDI. All proceeds from the 2021 event will go to Island Connections which provides free transportation to doctor and chemotherapy appointments, meal deliveries and other services to seniors and disabled on Mount Desert Island

Pre-orders for the luminarias will take place this Thursday, July 22nd from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. outside First National Bank at 102 Main Street in Bar Harbor. The suggested donation for each bag is $10.00

I have the honor and privilege of reading the names and hometowns of those on the bags again this year. Alice French will be playing live music during the event this year.
