2023 Blue Hill Fair Blueberry Pie, Chopped and Traditional Whoopie Pie Winners
The 2023 Blue Hill Fair came to an end on Labor Day, September 4th. Here are the winners for the Blueberry Pie, Blue Hill Chopped, Traditional Whoopie Pie and Children's Whoopie Pie Contests.
I had to walk by the Bacon Wrapped Hot Dogs on my way to judge the Whoopie Pie contest.
Blueberry Pie

I so wanted a donut from the Donut Boys! Their donuts are so big they're bigger than your hand! I joked that if I had a flat tire it could have doubled as a spare tire to get me back to Bangor...They're that big and delicious!!!!
Chopped

The winning dish was a zucchini and honey crepe with a blueberry and cream filling!
Talk about temptation! The Mountain Rebekah Lodge was selling strawberry shortcake with freshly whipped cream for just $5.00 right next to the judging area!
