Day 2 – Living With Henley

So here's Day 2, Living with Henley!

I spent the night on the couch again, with Henley down in the living room with me. I woke up at 4 AM, and Henley wanted to play with the rope toy. Did I mention he loves to play with toys? So we played for about 10 minutes and he had fun, and yes, I did too!

Not much breakfast for Henley again this morning. But, at least he took his vitamin with a little peanut butter on it this morning. When I was showering he came upstairs and went to each of our son's rooms and seemed comfortable in each room.

I brought him to work again this morning.  I had to tell Bob a little white lie, that I was taking Henley to the vet, so Bob wouldn't be jealous! Henley spent till about 2 at the office with me. He'd go under my desk, and every once in a while would want to play rope toy, which I thought was great. To be honest, I'm getting a lot more accomplished at work with Henley in my office and my door shut! If they're smart, they'll ask me to bring Henley to work every day!

So, I was concerned about his lack of eating, and on the way home I thought he might like a hamburger from McDonald's. Sure enough, he ate it, so at least I know he's had something to eat today!

I left him at home, unattended with Bob and Wishbone from 3 to 5. Everyone survived! When I came home Henley was excited to show me that he found the toy box! Not just the toy box, but every toy! So far, he's got all the stuffing and the squeaker out of the frog toy! The pumpkin rope is next! The squirrel toy didn't have any stuffing, otherwise that would be dead too! Now I just have to teach him how to put his toys away at the end of the night!

Bob crawled into the chair with me tonight, as Henley was under my feet while I was working on the computer. It's been at least a year since Bob shared the chair with me, but I think he's feeling a little neglected! He got a car ride tonight, and some extra attention!

Where am I sleeping tonight? Could be my bed or the couch. I may try Henley in Craig's room, or else he'll be downstairs. Who knows :)? Oops.. time to play with the dead frog!
