Best Buddies Walk – Sunday, April 28th

I had the opportunity to sit down virtually with Cara Maloney and learn more about the Best Buddies Walk which will be held at Cameron Stadium in Bangor on Sunday, April 28th.

If you know me, you know I'm a huge supporter of Unified Sports. I've often said that everyone should attend a Unified Basketball Game. It's the best hour that you will ever spend, and will make your heart grow in size!  You'll laugh, you'll cry and you'll cheer like you've never cheered before!

The Best Buddies Walk is the next step, literally and figuratively. It's all about inclusion!

A new chapter of Best Buddies has been started at the Lamoine Consolidated School by Miranda Engstrom! To find out about starting a chapter at your school, I would encourage you to contact Miranda, or come and take part in the walk!

The Best Buddies Friendship Walk takes place on Sunday, April 28th at Cameron Stadium in Bangor. Opening Ceremonies are at 10 a.m. and the Walk begins at 10 a.m. Everything should wrap up by 12 noon. To sign up, volunteer or donate go to their website
