DaCorte and Hamilton Honored

Congratulations to MDI's Lydia DaCorte and Ellsworth's Talor Hamilton who were named PVC Swimmers of the Year.

DaCorte helped lead MDI to a 4th place finish in the State Meet held on Monday, February 15th. At that meet she won the 100 Yard Butterfly and set a meet record, winning the 500 Yard Freestyle. The MDI Swimming and Diving Team also won the PVC Championship for the 4th consecutive year.

Hamilton helped lead Ellsworth to their 1st ever State Class B Swimming Championship on Tuesday, February 16th. Ellsworth set a new record in the 200 Yard Medley Relay, and new meet records in the 50 Yard Freestyle, 100 Yard Freestyle, and 400 Yard Freestyle. Ellsworth’s Talor Hamilton was involved in all 4 of those races. He also helped lead Ellsworth to the PVC Championship on February 8th
