5345 Emera Maine customers remain without power on Tuesday morning, January 12th, with the majority, 4787 in Hancock County.

Emera Maine is bringing in an additional 50 plus linecrews and tree trimming crews to bring a total count to four times the number of field workers typically adressing outages. Customers are reminded to stay clear of downed power lines or trees in contact with a line.

The snowstorm arriving, with the accompanying wind on Tuesday night into Wednesday, may delay restoration efforts. Emera Maine is anticipating that all customers in Hancock County will have their power back by tonight at 10 PM.
