6333 Without Power As of 9 PM

Emera Maine has made great progress in the restoration of power to customers on Monday night. At 4 PM there were 16,142 without power, but as of 9 PM this number had been reduced to 6333. Hancock County continues to be the area still without power, with 5536 customers still without power.

Emera Maine is bringing in an additional 50 plus linecrews and tree trimming crews to bring a total count to four times the number of field workers typically adressing outages. Customers are reminded to stay clear of downed power lines or trees in contact with a line.

• Bangor area: by 6:00 p.m. Tuesday
• Machias/Washington County: by 10 p.m. Tuesday
• Hancock County: by 10:00 p.m. Wednesday
