Waterfront Concerts Marks Its 5th Year in Bangor

Five years ago today, Waterfront Concerts brought its first concert to the Bangor Waterfront, and the entire entertainment industry in the state of Maine has never been the same.

Prior to July 28, 2013 if you wanted to see a major act, you had to go to Portland or even farther south. Now, the Darling's Waterfront Pavilion and Bangor has a fantastic reputation for being an excellent concert venue and fans who love music!

We have been treated to country, rock, rap, comedians with top names such as Sting, Tim McGraw, Kenny Chesney, Foreigner, Larry the Cable Guy, Journey, Pat Benatar and more. Van Halen will be playing on Thursday, July 30th!

But it all started with Celtic Woman on July 28th, 2010. The show was sparsely attended (at least compared to current shows!)  But the sky was clear, the moon was nearly full, and the music was incredible!
