Trenton 2nd and 5th Graders Spend the Day on Abrams Pond

Trenton Elementary 2nd and 5th graders had a great field trip on Tuesday, February 24th, heading out on the ice on Abrams Pond.

The 24 students, accompanied by Mr. Morse and Natalia Pajor-Meddaugh and parents went out on the ice. Students learned about the different species of fish, measured ice thickness, water depth and water temperature.

They  even cooked hot dogs over a fire and had baked beans that were prepared by the Trenton Elementary School's kitchen cook.
