The Bar Harbor Food Pantry Needs Peanut Butter and Jelly in July

Do you remember the Family Guy episode where they sang "Peanut Butter Jelly Time?"

The Bar Harbor Food Pantry hopes you can donate jars of peanut butter and jelly during the month of July! They don't care whether it is crunchy or smooth, store or name brand! They'll gladly accept strawberry, grape, raspberry, blueberry or whatever kind of jelly you want to drop off!

Kids are home from school and unfortunately they are hungry! And if you want to drop off a jar of Fluff or something else, they'll gladly accept it!

You've heard it before, but I honestly believe that there's no more generous people than Mainers. Mainers consistently step up to help their fellow Mainers. I am constantly amazed at the generosity and outpouring of support for people and causes in the 39 years that I have lived in Maine. You prove over and over what I have said "Mainers take care of Mainers and those that they love".

Donations may be dropped off at the Bar Harbor Food Pantry, or left in the bin at the MDI YWCA. at 36 Mount Desert Street in Bar Harbor.
