The Ellsworth Eagles defeated Mattanawcook Academy in Lincoln on Saturday afternoon, December 19th, by the score of 103-46. That's not a typo, Ellsworth scored 103 points, as the Lynx attempted 33 3-pointers during the game, and Ellsworth was able to get up and down the court thanks to the long rebounds and outlet passes...

The game Saturday afternoon between MDI and Houlton featured the two unbeaten teams, and didn't disappoint, as the two teams battled back and forth until MDI came away with the 47-41 victory in Bar Harbor. This game had added significance, as it's the only time the two teams will meet in the regular season.

The Ellsworth Girl's Basketball Team traveled up to Lincoln and remained perfect on the season, moving to 4-0, with a 69-42 victory over the Mattanawcook Academy Lynx on Friday, December 18th. Every Eagle (with the exception of Sammy Mason who is recovering from an injury) scored.

The MDI Boy's Basketball Team defeated Houlton 57-47 in Bar Harbor at Bernard Parady Gymnasium on Friday, December 18th to improve to 3-1 on the season.

The MDI Girl's Basketball Team cruised to a 67-25 victory over the John Bapst Crusaders on Thursday, December 17th at the Cross Insurance Center to remain perfect on the season, and set up a battle of the unbeaten when Houlton travels to MDI on Saturday afternoon.

The Ellsworth Eagle's Boy's Basketball Team fell to Old Town 51-40, in a game that was much closer than the final score indicates, at Mackenzie Gymnasium in Old Town on Wednesday, December 16th.

The MDI Boy's Basketball Team played at the Cross Insurance Center on Wednesday, December 16th and came away with the win, defeating the John Bapst Crusaders 49-38

The Ellsworth Girl's Basketball Team remained perfect on the season, defeating the Old Town Coyotes 42-34 at Mackenzie Gymnasium in Old Town, but it wasn't without a few tense minutes, especially in the 4th Quarter.

The MDI Boy's Basketball Team rebounded from their first loss of the season, on Thursday night at Washington Academy, and came from behind in the 4th Quarter, to beat Hermon 45-44 in their 1st home game of the season.
