Sumner Cheering Advances to States

The Sumner Memorial High School Cheering Squad advanced to the Class C State Championships after finishing 3rd in the Class C North Competition at the Cross Insurance Center on Saturday, January 27th.

The top 6 teams from the Class C North Competition advanced to the States. Advancing were 1. Mattanawcook Academy, 2. Central, 3. Sumner, 4. Houlton, 5. Calais and 6. Orono.

The Class C State Championships will be held Saturday, February 10th at the Cross Insurance Center in Bangor.
