Sumner Boys Soccer Defeats Bucksport 10-1

The Sumner Memorial High School Boys Soccer Team remained perfect on the season, defeating the Bucksport Golden Bucks 10-1, on Thursday, September 19th in Bucksport.

Caelan Billings led the attack for Sumner with four goals and an assist. Silas Goldfarb added a hat trick and an assist. Eduardo Figueroa had a goal and an assist.

Rounding out the scoring for Sumner were Damon Warren and Michael Merchant, each with a goal, and Bill Wray with four assists.

Hunter Klenowski scored on a penalty kick for the Golden Bucks.

Alex Rumill made 3 saves on 7 shots for the Tigers while Chris Simpson had 12 saves on 25 shots for Bucksport.

Sumner, now 4-0, travels to Searsport on Saturday, September 21st at 1PM.

Bucksport, 2-4, travels to Lincoln to play Mattanawcook Academy on Saturday, September 21st at 12 Noon
