Staying Alive – Ellsworth 9/10 All-Stars Win Elimination Game

The Ellsworth 9/10 All Star Softball Team weren't even twinkles in their parent's eyes 40 years ago when the soundtrack to Saturday Night Live was released. Heck, some of their parents weren't even born back in 1977, or if they were were just crawling around! But the song "Staying Alive" by the Bee Gees is so appropriate, as that what the girls did Sunday afternoon, beating Medomak 8-3.

As a result, the Ellsworth 9/10 Softball All-Star Team will travel back down to Scarborough on Wedneday night, July 19th for another elimination game, playing the loser of the Shaker Valley/Scarborough game at 6 PM.

Lily Bean had 15 strikeouts for Ellsworth in a commanding pitching effort.

The Ellsworth Team is managed by Josh Stevens with Assistant Coaches Ron Bean and Steve Sullivan.
