Special Olympics Torch Run on Friday June 7

Motorists should be advised that the annual Law Enforcement Special Olympics Torch Run will be taking place this Friday, June 7th. A contingent of runners will leave Town Hill accompanied by police and sheriff cruisers heading towards Ellsworth.

They will arrive in Ellsworth at around 9AM, and then will depart from Ellsworth's Key Bank around 9:30 heading towards Bangor and ultimately up to the University of Maine. The Special Olympics will be held at UMaine on Saturday and Sunday, June 8th and 9th.
