Smell the Smoke – Trenton Bridge Lobster Pound’s Restaurant Reopens Friday June 14th

The Trenton Bridge Lobster Pound's Restaurant will reopen for their 68th season on Friday, June 14th.

The Trenton Bridge Lobster Pound is located at the foot of the bridge as you enter Mount Desert Island.

They are normally open Monday thru Saturday, but are open on select Sundays through mid-October, including this Sunday, Father's Day.

Whenever I drive to or from MDI, I always slow down and open all my car windows whenever I get near the Trenton Bridge Lobster Pound, when they're open. I absolutely love the smell of the smoke from their wood-fired lobster cookers!

Pay attention while you drive, but do yourself a favor and roll down your windows when you pass by and inhale! It's the way lobsters should be cooked!
