Small Water Leak to Impact Route 3 Traffic Beginning Monday, April 22

There is a small water leak, unrelated to the Route 3 construction work, in Hull's Cove in Bar Harbor, near the Acadia National Park entrance.

In talking to Chip Reeves, the Public Works Director for the Town of Bar Harbor, he said the plan is to deal with the leak beginning on Monday, April 22nd. The Town is currently working on flushing water lines, and Sargent Corporation would like to work on the leak, beginning on Monday, the 22nd. The leak is very minor. In the event that the magnitude of the leak increases, then it will be dealt with sooner.

The traveling public can expect alternating one-way traffic and delays while these repairs are taking place
