It was a beautiful Friday night in Bar Harbor when Santa arrived! The COVID-19 pandemic force major changes in the usual tree lighting and Village Holiday's celebration but thanks to everyone a new tradition may have been started!

Bar Harbor Police led the parade as Santa went on a hour trip, pulled on a horse drawn carriage from Wild Iris Farms, through downtown starting and stopping at the ballfield and heading down Main Street and Cottage Street passing by the Village Green twice.  Thanks to the amazing generosity of the community, volunteers from the Bar Harbor Food Pantry filled 5-6 grocery carts full of non-perishable food. The Bar Harbor Chamber of Commerce played music and one of Bar Harbor's firetruck brought up the rear!

Santa wore a mask and commented how pleased he was to see everyone masked up and being socially distant as he rode by!

Check out the photos and video from the Bar Harbor Chamber of Commerce!
