Rt 3 Construction Work Plan Week Ending May 25th

It will be a short week for the contractors working on the Bar Harbor Route 3 Construction Project, as work will stop for the Memorial Day Weekend in the afternoon on Thursday, May 23rd and won't resume until Tuesday morning, May 28th.

The 1 Way Detour using the Park Loop Road is in effect, and will remain in effect, throughout the Memorial Day Weekend and until further notice.

Here's where the contractors will be working through Thursday, May 23rd.

• Placing loam at various locations along the length of the project
• Preparing for paving the roadway from Pirates Cove Golf Course to the entrance of Acadia National Park
• Paving driveways and sidewalks at various locations along the project
• Landscaping from the College of the Atlantic to the Eagle Lake Road
